I'm Jenny Altick and I am a graphic designer and copywriter, based out of Dallas, Texas.

I've been a designer for quite some time. When I used to try to explain to my mom what I did for living, I used to say I was like a "jack of all trades" with graphics.

Lightbulb!

A Jen of All Trades!

I have worked in many areas of the print industry: from the Dallas Observer as layout editor and production artist to a direct mail print shop. I have also worked in the Internet industry where I was an editor for a broadband startup before anyone really even knew what broadband was. I have been a digital artist for clients like neimanmarcus.com and local photographers, where I got the opportunity to work on images of some very famous people.

And I have always freelanced. I've designed invitations, paper systems, logos, ad campaigns, billboards. I've designed and produced web sites. I like to stay busy and I adore typography -- good typography.

CMYK runs in my blood, but I'm equally comfortable with RGB. One thing, though: please let those images start out at 300 dpi. In design, you can always bring the image resolution down, but you can't go up.

That's not how it is in life. It can go either way.

Life's like a blank page. There are so many options and there's no telling what you can do with it.

It's up to you how you're going to design it and how it will look in the end.
